Nikitha Ballari

Nikitha Ballari is a nonprofit professional with a background in psychology, sociology, and communications, & a passion for connecting people through culture, education, and storytelling. Her commitment to equity and community engagement began during her time at Northern Illinois University, where she was actively involved with the NIU NAACP.

She went on to build over four years of experience in the nonprofit sector through Facing History & Ourselves, where she actively supports executive leadership, manages donor and community outreach, and strengthens organizational infrastructure.

Nikitha first joined Kalapriya as a Dance Instructor, sharing the beauty and depth of South Asian culture through movement. She has since transitioned into her current role as Marketing & Communications Coordinator, where she amplifies Kalapriya's mission and programs to engage diverse audiences and strengthen community connections. She envisions Kalapriya as a vibrant central hub where people from all backgrounds can come together to learn, celebrate, and create.
