Kerry Sheehan

Kerry is a longtime Chicago arts professional whose career has included television, theatre, live concerts, events, and festival production, as well as arts education in the areas of music, dance, theatre, comedy, and visual arts.

Most recently, Kerry served as the Producer and General Manager for Teatro ZinZanni after producing the first annual World Comedy Festival in Chicago in 2022. As a member of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) programming team, Kerry worked on various special projects including the Year of Chicago Music, Winter Programming in Millennium Park, and all major festivals produced by the City.

Prior to her time at DCASE, Kerry served as President of The Second City Training Centers for 12 years and as the Director of Education for the Old Town School of Folk Music for 13 years. Kerry also had the pleasure of working as the Associate Producer/Talent Coordinator for Center Stage, a WTTW/Chicago and VHI-Production, early in her career.

Kerry holds a degree in music theory and composition and piano, and has performed and recorded professionally as a keyboard/piano/accordion player with several Chicago bands.
