Vikram K. Raghavan
Vikram Raghavan is a Managing Director at Accenture with two decades of global consulting experience in the energy, chemicals, and natural resources industries, having shaped and led a variety of enterprise transformation, operational readiness, digital strategy, and data & AI programs.
Vikram is also an accomplished Indian classical singer, trained in the South Indian tradition of Carnatic music. He began learning Carnatic music in the Chicago area at a young age and moved to India for 10 years to pursue advanced training under the expert tutelage of Ramon Magsaysay awardee and Sangita Kalanidhi T.M. Krishna. Vikram has performed widely across India and North America and was a regular feature in the Chennai Music Season for over a decade. He is a graded artist of the All India Radio, a recipient of several prizes from prestigious institutions such as The Music Academy of Madras, and he received the Master-Apprentice Grant for Indian Vocal Music from The Illinois Arts Council. Vikram has been involved with several album productions and received critical acclaim for his music video titled “A Cat’s Tale”, a plea for equality and equity. Vikram continues to pass on this musical form by teaching vocal music to intermediate and advanced students in the traditional pedagogy.
Having served on the executive committee of Sumanasa Foundation in India since 2010, Vikram has been involved in driving several socio-cultural initiatives within the Indian performing arts space. He has curated and organized immersive multi-day music festivals aimed at school children across major cities in India and was also involved in providing relief for nearly 5000 Indian artists impacted by the pandemic. Vikram has served on the Board of Trustees for the Music Institute of Chicago, one of the largest and most reputable music schools in the country with nearly 2000 students across 8 campus locations in the greater Chicagoland area and currently serves on the Board of Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts.
