Kalapriya Center for Performing Arts is currently seeking a tabla instructor for our fall class session.

Qualifications:

5+ years of teaching experience

Availability on nights and weekends

Experience working with both adults and children is preferred

Ability to work with students of a range of levels

The Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) organization located in the city of Chicago. Kalapriya’s mission is to support diversity through the performing arts (dance, music, theater, and story-telling) that preserve traditional South Asian art forms and that build bridges between the performing arts and our contemporary lives. Kalapriya’s strategic objectives are achieved through educational presentations and performances. Kalapriya has been a major institution in Chicago for over 25 years.
